Dan Locklair’s “The Stars” and “Sleighing Song” will be featured on WGBH’s “Christmas Around New England” program which will air on Saturday, December 17 at 6:00pm EST and on Sunday, December 25 at 12:00noon EST.
The Foundation has just received word that a portion of the recent HGC/RCS holiday concert will be featured in the upcoming WGBH program “Christmas Around New England.”
The program will feature two movements from Dan Locklair’s “Winter (from the forgottens)” which was commissioned with support from the Harvard Glee Club Foundation. The third movement, “The Stars” is TTBB and showcases the men of the Harvard Glee Club. The fourth movement, “Sleighing Song,” is an SATB piece for which HGC was joined by the women of RCS.
Both pieces can be heard during broadcasts of WGBH’s “Christmas Around New England” program at 6:00pm EST on Saturday, December 17th and again at 12:00noon on Sunday, December 25th.
If you live outside WGBH’s broadcast area, you can listen to the stream of the program via the internet at:
